Serinda Swan In “Tron Legacy”
Posted by Nessa • 4 Comments »

The new “Tron Legacy” trailer was released, and it looks awesome! Serinda Swan (Zatanna), plays Siren, a temptress inside the computer world, where she spilled to “Screen Rant” last year that there are actually lights sewn in her wardrobe.

If I’m not mistaken, there is a quick clip of Serinda in white at mark 1:36 in the trailer. Check it out and sound off your opinion in the comment section.

In Theaters December 17, 2010

Smallville alum, Kyle Gallner will be guest starring in this week’s episode of “CSI New York”, titled “Pot of Gold”. According to his IMDb page, he has a recurring role on the show, having appeared as Reed Garret for several episodes since 2006. Catch it this Wednesday on CBS at 10/9c.

Kyle can also be seen in the reboot of “A Nightmare on Elm Street”, in theaters on April 30th.

Hopefully we’ll get to see Kyle reprise his role on “Smallville” as Impulse/Bart Allen in season ten!

Smallville News Bytes – Thursday, March 4th
Posted by Nessa • 2 Comments »

I’m still excited about the Smallville season ten news that was announced earlier today! This is definitely a happy Smallville day!

Just a few Smallville news bytes to share and John Schneider’s new Twitter account:

1.  Turi Meyer tweeted earlier today that he, along with Al Septien, will be writing the season nine finale.

2.  “KryptonSite” shared a few episodes titles (below), including an interesting tid-bit that Justin Hartley (Oliver Queen) is one of the writers for “Sacrifice” and Greg Beeman is coming back to direct the season nine finale, “Salvation”. Read the spoilers in it’s entirety on “KryptonSite” here.

- 9.20 “Sacrifice” – April 30, 2010
- 9.21 “Hostage” – May 7, 2010
- 9.22 “Salvation” – May 14, 2010

3.  And finally, I received an interesting heads up from “AC” that John Schneider set up a new Twitter account that is related to his new SpikeTV show, “Back 9″. I contacted Scott at John Schneider’s official site, and he confirmed this is truly his new twitter account. So you can now follow John Schneider here “therealtrueshit“. Thanks “AC”!

James Marsters Mentions “Smallville” In Q&A
Posted by Nessa • No Comments »

I would love to see James Marsters return to Smallville before the show wraps up. I’ve been a fan of his since “Buffy The Vampire Slayer”, and enjoyed his portrayal of Brainiac/Milton Fine. The show definitely has left it open for him to return.

With that being said, James recently chatted with “Poptimal.com” and very briefly mentioned Smallville and Tom Welling:

On Smallville:
Definitely would love to return to Smallville. James had nothing but great things to say about the cast of Smallville, as well as Tom Welling, the resident Superman.

Read his full Q&A at “Poptimal” here.

A few Smallville news bytes I’ve been gathering the last couple of days:

1.  As I tweeted a couple of days ago, “You”, starring Allison Mack will debut at the Gasparilla Film Festival in March. Click here to read more.

2.  Smallville co-executive producer, writer and director, Turi Meyer is now on Twitter! You can follow him here: TuriMeyer

3.  Michael Rosenbaum was among several celebrities that appeared at the Seattle Thunderbirds Hockey Challenge 2010 charity event on Saturday, February 27th. Our partner site, “RosenbaumMedia” has several pictures that fans snapped during the event – you can check it out here.

4.  The Smallville episode “Warrior” that aired on February 12th, gained 31% in Live+7 DVR ratings to wind up with 3.25 mil. Thanks to Matt Mitovich with “Fancast” for tweeting that tid-bit.

5.  And finally, I added four “season eight” LQ promo pictures to the gallery of Allison Mack, Erica Durance and Cassidy Freeman. I’m crossing my fingers that we’ll see those in HQ, as welll as some nice ones of the guys (Tom Welling, Justin Hartley, Aaron Ashmore and Sam Witwer). Thanks to “Mundo Smallville” for the images!
