James Marsters Mentions “Smallville” In Q&A
Posted by Nessa • No Comments »

I would love to see James Marsters return to Smallville before the show wraps up. I’ve been a fan of his since “Buffy The Vampire Slayer”, and enjoyed his portrayal of Brainiac/Milton Fine. The show definitely has left it open for him to return.

With that being said, James recently chatted with “Poptimal.com” and very briefly mentioned Smallville and Tom Welling:

On Smallville:
Definitely would love to return to Smallville. James had nothing but great things to say about the cast of Smallville, as well as Tom Welling, the resident Superman.

Allison Mack Excited About Directing Again
Posted by Nessa • No Comments »

TV Guide’s Natalie Abrams posted her interview with Allison Mack this evening where Allison dishes on sparks between Oliver (Justin Hartley) and Chloe developing in the coming episodes, but it’s a bond unlike what we’ve seen between Clark (Tom Welling) and Lois (Erica Durance).  Very interesting indeed. Can’t wait to see what that’s about, LOL.

Allison also chats about directing 9.13 “Warrior”, which coincidentally is her second time directing an episode 13 (8.13 “Power”). “Warrior” airs tomorrow night at 8/7c.

Read all about it and lots more at “TV Guide” here.

Smallville News Bytes – Thursday, February 11
Posted by Nessa • No Comments »

I’m so delayed posting news today peeps – very, very busy day for me today. Just a few “Smallville News Bytes”:

Damian Holbrook with TV Guide interviewed the lovely Allison Mack earlier this afternoon -read a snippet where Allison talks about her favorite “Smallville Moment”:

Do you have a favorite Smallville moment?
Yes! The other day, actually, it was Justin’s birthday and we had a cake for him. So I went down to the set, it’s pouring down rain and we have these things called “fly swatters” that shield us from rain when we’re filming outside, but they also basically collect a lot of rain on top. Every now and then you have to dump all of that excess rain and there’s this huge splash of water. We were filming outside, so we had these fly swatters set up and they were filled with water, and as we were singing “Happy Birthday,” one of the crewmembers decided to empty the fly swatter…not knowing I was standing right under it. Before anyone could say anything I was covered in about a gallon of freezing cold rainwater and I just looked at Justin and went (in a little singing voice) “happy birthday to you.” [Laughs] I had to completely redo my hair and makeup, I was wet to the bone, but everyone applauded and it ended being this great moment in Smallville history.

** Read Allison’s full interview at “TV Guide” here.

There is an article on “The Hollywood Reporter” listing the status of endangered shows – Smallville is on this list. Read the blurb below:

“Smallville” & “Supernatural” — The nine-year-old “Smallville” contains an alarming lack of texting debutantes so naturally the CW dumped it on Fridays. Like Krypton crystal thrown into the snow, it bloomed in the wasteland and gave The CW a reliable performer on TV’s toughest night. “Supernatural” made a solid companion for “Vampire Diaries.” Both: 85%

** See what other shows made the list here.

And finally, congratulations to Allison Mack for winning E! Online’s CW Awards for “Best Lead Actress”. See the full list of winners here.

The Justice Society of America is coming to Smallville, so to speak. What will be your role in this two-hour special?
