“Conspiracy” was excellent last night. I’m going to reiterate by saying that I am really enjoying the Clark and Zod scenes. I think I probably would have screamed last night at the ending, but unfortunately I found out a few minutes before it aired that Zod flies in the final scene. Now we have to endure a few weeks of waiting to find out what happens next! The ratings for last night’s episode are in courtesy of “TVbytheNumbers“. Smallville was slightly up from last weeks 2.42 million viewers with 2.53 million viewers:

Last night’s Smallville event was AMAZING in every aspect! Props to Geoff Johns and the Smallville cast and crew for a well executed Smallville event! I was really hoping the ratings would be higher for AJ, especially since it was highly hyped and promoted. Below are the ratings from last night’s episode, thanks to “TVbytheNumbers”.

Smallville’s return overnight ratings were almost identical from Pandora’s ratings over two months ago with the same 18-49 rating. It also beat out the series finale of “Dollhouse” last night.

An article below from SciFi Wire has a list of scifi-shows most likely to get picked up again for another season. Read the snippet below about “Smallville” which reiterates an earlier article from “TVbytheNumbers“. Check it out:

For week ending November 22, which aired “Pandora” (Friday, November 20th), Smallville posted a 40% increase in DVR viewing, which was one of the largest increases that week in Live+ 7 day DVR viewing from their Live+Same Day adults 18-49 ratings. I figured the numbers would be high for Pandora! Smallville totally rocks! SOURCE: TVbytheNumbers |

I added a snippet of The CW’s press release from TVbytheNumbers regarding the week ending November 15, 2009, which aired “Idol” that Friday (November 13).
I can’t wait to find out the DVR ratings for “Pandora”, which aired on November 20th! Hopefully we’ll get those numbers soon! |

Smallville is among several shows listed at “TVbytheNumbers” to see the largest DVR increase for the week of January 31st.

Smallville: It certainly looked like the end when the CW moved Smallville to Fridays AND it dropped about half its viewers. Note to fans… Ratings on Friday nights suck. TVbytheNumber’s Gorman commented, “For most broadcast shows, exile to Friday means your network thinks the show is past its time, and should peacefully fade away without damaging the ratings of shows on Sunday-Thursday. That’s likely the idea that the CW had when it put Smallville on Fridays this season. But defying conventional wisdom (and to many fans, the wishes of CW chief Dawn Ostroff), not only has Smallville refused to go quietly, it was tied for second best adults 18-49 rating on the CW last week. I know that the CW targets women 18-34, but be certain they sell advertising based on whatever attractive demo ratings they get. Those results cannot be ignored.”
I “retweeted” this earlier this afternoon from “TV by the Numbers”, but didn’t post on here – sorry for delay folks! Thanks for the reminder Monita!
