The latest issue of Emmy magazine includes a striking brochure insert for The CW’s very first Emmy campaign titled OMFG, which includes ”Smallville”, “The Vampire Diaries, “Supernatural”, “Gossip Girl”, and “One Tree Hill”. The brochure also comes with a DVD that includes promo trailers for the shows listed above cut specifically for the Emmy campaign – the “Absolute Justice” trailer was used for Smallville. I scanned the insert for Smallville below featuring Tom Welling as Clark Kent/The Blur – see it larger in the gallery by clicking the image. Also be sure to read more about The CW’s Emmy campaign at “Deadline.com” here.

TV Guide Magazine’s Smallville Issue
“Without trying very hard, you could probably find the leaked script on the internet,” he laughed. “[The Superman cameo] is in the leaked script. It survived several drafts. Ultimately, it was cut for budgetary reasons. We took it out in one of our later drafts. After my interview with you, of course.”
To introduce Chloe — the only key Smallville character who did not originate in Superman’s comic adventures — Spencer had to make a few tweaks to her history. “It’s a pretty different continuity, which I think has always been the challenging part of bringing Chloe into the DC Comics Universe,” Spencer says. “She’s never existed in the comics before, so in order to make a part of Clark’s life when he was a teenager in Smallville, you’d have to do it somewhat retroactively, and it would age Chloe as a character a lot, since Superman is well past that part of his life in the books.”
