Davis Bloome was a paramedic at Metropolis General Hospital. “Davis” is a persona for the Kryptonian known as the Ultimate Destroyer and Doomsday by Jor-El and Brainiac respectively.

He is the result of a fusion of genetic material of the most violent Kryptonian life-forms with that of the renegade Kryptonians General Zod and Faora and sent to earth attached to Kal-El’s (Clark Kent) ship where his true form was camouflaged until he is ready to destroy earth.
