Dr. Swann sends Clark the octagonal key that disappeared a year earlier with a note indicating the key will lead Clark to his destiny.  Jason Teague flys to Shanghai in search of the stones with Lex on his heel.  Lana tells Clark she’s headed to Shanghai and Clark decides to go with her.  As Lex and Jason are being tortured following their capture by authorities, Clark  battles Isobel, who has again possessed Lana, but the keeper of the stone is unknown until the end…where Jason shares his discovery with Lana.

The Torch’s photographer, Brendan, wants high school life to stay the same…forever.  He decides to kidnap several of his fellow students and holds them in a replicated Smallville High at an abondoned warehouse.  He also has the ability to petrify anyone into statues of wax, which he uses to threaten his peers with if they gets in his way.  Genevieve and Jason Teague kidnap Lex and Lionel in hopes that they will reveal one of the elements.

Graduation is interrupted by another meteor shower threat on Smallville.  After Lana is again possessed by Isobel, she stabs Genevieve with the element after Genevieve trys to strangle her, and Lex discovers Lana after the incident.  Clark is able to recover all of the elements and goes to the Kawatche Caves to put the elements together, but as he’s doing so, Lex and Chloe are just around the corner.
