Ah! Well, we all knew there would be a showdown by seasons end, right. But I’m pretty sure they’re going to make it bigger than previously done.

And I am not blaming the Smallville writers for last seasons finale. They didn’t know whether they were writing a season or series finale so whatever they came up with, they came up with. At least they were still planning a season finale this time. And from all the great things they’ve done in the past 15 episodes, I’m sure this showdown will be… for lack of an awesome word…. epic.

BTW, great to hear Perry and Lois teaming up. =)

I sure hope it’s a better showdown than season eight’s finale, “Doomsday”. For me that episode was right on top as my least favorite of all the Smallville episodes. But like Smallville’s slogan this year, I also think season nine’s finale episode, “Salvation” will be (Smallville) “legendary”.

I agree – can’t wait to see those two team up! I’m looking forward to Perry White (Michael McKean) returning to the show. I hope he’s a recurring character in season ten, as well as Martha Kent (Annette O’Toole).

Just a wild guess…it probably will be the last season. If it is, I’m sure they’ll be a spin-off when it ends. I’ll be sad to see it end though.
