Ausiello has more Smallville news to share later today. Read below: I’ve got some big news for all my Super friends out there. I’m hearing The CW has decided to package Smallville’s upcoming (and highly-anticipated) Justice Society-themed two-parter into a two-hour movie event airing on Jan. 29. The Geoff Johns-penned episodes — titled “Society” and “Legends” and featuring such DC Comics stalwarts as Stargirl, Hawkman, and Dr. Fate — were originally designed to air separately. But, according to Smallville insiders, CW execs felt they could get more mileage out of combining them. I tend do agree. Do you? Sound off in the comments! Oh, and if you thought this scoop was super, just wait. There’s another (even bigger) Smallville-related treat coming your way later today. SOURCE: EW |

So cool! This is a big sign that the CW has faith in Smallville. I wonder, though, if this will change anything for the episodes themselves. Will they still keep them as two separate episodes and air them one right after the other, or will it act as one big episode. They’ll probably split them up on the DVD and for reruns, but I’m just wondering because if it is aired as one thing they might have to change some things in the episodes for pacing reasons. But still, SO excited. And there’s something bigger than this coming? Man, this is turning out to be a great day. |

Indeed it is a AWESOME Smallville day! Ausiello has revealed two biggies for us Smallville fans – the JSA television movie, and the first look at the steamy Clois scene from Pandora! I AM SO EXCITED! I’m still screaming over here! You know you bring up an interesting point. I think since it will be considered a television movie, that it will run as one 2-hour episode. |

Gee so much emotions ! too little words. The only way the writers could make this episode better than christmas eve would be a Batman cameo (Gotham city was mentioned 2 times in season 6) |

Hey The Brain, That would be awesome indeed, but unfortunately I don’t think we’ll ever see that on Smallville. That would be an amazing cameo though to wrap up the series when it ends! C’mon, these episodes are going to be amazing, I am so excited! Ugh, over 2-months away! |

FREAKIN’ AWESOME! Now I’m really excited! This is the first time in nine years that Smallville will have a two-hour television movie event.
