Just a few Smallville news I’ve gathered throughout the day!

  • I had just finished a new “poll” (left sidebar), when EW’s Ausiello tweeted the awesome news – Martha Kent is returning to Smallville later this season! Read it at EW here. I posted something a few months ago stating that I would love to see her return to Smallville, and I’m very pleased to read she is finally coming back!
  • Also, Tess Mercer (Cassidy Freeman) made #10 on Show Patrols “TV’s Bitchy Hall Of Fame” – Check it out here. Thanks to “Shelby” for sending me that tid-bit today!
  • Michael McKean, who played “Perry White” (3.05 Perry) will be performing on HDNet on Sunday, January 24th at 8 p.m. ET. For more information, click here. Thanks to “camycats” on Twitter for the heads up!
  • And finally, an imposter posing as “Brian Austin Green” (John Corben/Metallo) on Twitter, duped several online sites and fans claiming the he and Megan Fox are engaged. Now I have to admit, I was also duped! I was following this person on Twitter, as well as many Smallville fans thinking he was the real deal! According to “Gossip Cop”, the real Brian Austin Green does not have a Twitter account, and the imposter’s account was suspended on Twitter. I just hope she joins for more than one episode. Crossing fingers for a season 10 and with Ma Kent in it! :)

I’m glad Martha is back! I miss her so much! I couldn’t vote for my fav villains because I love 3 villains : Lex, Doomsday/Davis and Brainiac. Tough choice too for the last poll : Martha, Lex, Perry, Bart, Victor, Arthur and Brainiac.

Hey Elodie,

Tough villain choice for me too. My favorite villains: Lex, Bizarro & Brainiac. I’m also starting to warm up to Tess as a villain. I’ll be posting the final results of the villain poll later today.

Characters I’d like to see come back to Smallville – very similar to you’re list: Martha, but she’s already confirmed, Lex, Perry, Bart, Victor, Kara and Brainiac. I’d also like to see Lana return for a story arc before the series wraps up.

Never been a fan of Lana. To my point of view, I think she should have left the show earlier.

But I really want to see more Lex than Lana. I miss Michael a lot.

Elodie,

I really miss Michael on the show too. If the rumors are true about Smallville going to season 10, it would be AMAZING if Michael was signed for the next season! If I remember correctly, Callum Blue is also signed on for a tenth season, and not too sure about Cassidy Freeman, but it definitely make for interesting storylines with all three villains.
