Smallville alum, Sam Jones III (Pete Ross) who recently plead guilty to conspiracy to selling more than 10,000 pills of Oxycodone aka Hillbilly Heroine, has been sentenced to serve one year in federal prison. The judge also ordered three years of probation for the 28 year old actor once he’s completed his prison sentence.

According to “TMZ,” Jones begged the judge for mercy before sentencing, explaining he’d lost everything — including his dog, his car, and his acting gig on “Blue Mountain State” — due to the drug charges.

It has not been determined when Jones will have to surrender to authorities.

MTV recently caught up with Laura Vandervoort (Kara) where she talks Smallville ending and that she wishes her character said goodbye to Clark Kent:

“I’m a little upset that Kara did not get to say goodbye to Clark personally,” she said. “She just kind of watched from afar. But overall, ‘Smallville’ is fantastic and they did such a great job.”
