Smallville News Bytes – Wednesday March 3rd
Posted by Nessa • 3 Comments »

A few Smallville news bytes I’ve been gathering the last couple of days:

1.  As I tweeted a couple of days ago, “You”, starring Allison Mack will debut at the Gasparilla Film Festival in March. Click here to read more.

2.  Smallville co-executive producer, writer and director, Turi Meyer is now on Twitter! You can follow him here: TuriMeyer

3.  Michael Rosenbaum was among several celebrities that appeared at the Seattle Thunderbirds Hockey Challenge 2010 charity event on Saturday, February 27th. Our partner site, “RosenbaumMedia” has several pictures that fans snapped during the event – you can check it out here.

4.  The Smallville episode “Warrior” that aired on February 12th, gained 31% in Live+7 DVR ratings to wind up with 3.25 mil. Thanks to Matt Mitovich with “Fancast” for tweeting that tid-bit.

5.  And finally, I added four “season eight” LQ promo pictures to the gallery of Allison Mack, Erica Durance and Cassidy Freeman. I’m crossing my fingers that we’ll see those in HQ, as welll as some nice ones of the guys (Tom Welling, Justin Hartley, Aaron Ashmore and Sam Witwer). Thanks to “Mundo Smallville” for the images!

Posted by Nessa • 2 Comments »

Juliet Landau, who played Drusilla in “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” and “Angel”, directed a short documentary film about Gary Oldman called “Take Flight” (read more about Landau’s campaign on “Moviehole” here).

As part of the campaign, Michael Rosenbaum was among a few artists that Landau chatted with about their creative process where he briefly mentioned his role as Lex Luthor from Smallville. Check it out:

Smallville News Bytes – Sunday, February 28th

An article from EW, and a few Smallville “Conspiracy” tid-bits:

1.  Check-out an article from Ken Tucker at EW titled, “The CW’s Identity Crisis: Are Supernatural & Smallville Better Than Gossip Girl & 90210?”

I personally think the author hit it right on the mark, but then I’ve always been more of a sci-fi fan. You can read it at EW here.

2.  Smallville’s Conspiracy reached #1 on iTunes’ Top TV episodes. Check it out here, thanks to sv_awareness on Twitter.

3.  Herb Sommerfeld was an extra in “Conspiracy” and shared a couple of the scenes he was in on his Twitter last night. You can see it here and here. What a lucky guy!

4.  And finally, a couple of “Conspiracy” recaps from TV Guide:

Smallville TV Ratings From Friday, February 26
Posted by Nessa • 2 Comments »

“Conspiracy” was excellent last night. I’m going to reiterate by saying that I am really enjoying the Clark and Zod scenes. I think I probably would have screamed last night at the ending, but unfortunately I found out a few minutes before it aired that Zod flies in the final scene. Now we have to endure a few weeks of waiting to find out what happens next!

The ratings for last night’s episode are in courtesy of “TVbytheNumbers“. Smallville was slightly up from last weeks 2.42 million viewers with 2.53 million viewers:
