A Look Back At Favorite Smallville Moments
Posted by Nessa • 2 Comments »

SB Additions banner

There are so many wonderful, funny and tender moments in the eight years of Smallville – thought I’d add some of those clips this week to the video widget on the left sidebar.  I’m not too savvy with creating videos, otherwise I’d combine some of those moments in one clip – I’m learning though, and I’ll share it on here once I get the hang of it.

In the meantime, enjoy the clips – there always fun to see again.

Latest From Ausiello: Clois Romance
Posted by Nessa • No Comments »

Question: They’re have been conflicting reports about where Smallville is heading in the romance department this year. Is it the season of Clois, or are they really revisiting Lois and Ollie again? –Jeff
Ausiello:
It’s full-tilt-Clois. I’m sure they will touch on Lois-Ollie, but it won’t be anything significant.

Jensen Ackles Makes EW's "Sci-Fi Hotties 2009" List
Posted by Nessa • 3 Comments »

Jensen Ackles made No. 2 on EW’s “SciFi Hotties of 2009″ list.  Other actors to make the list was Zachary Quinto (yess!), Chris Pine, Tahmoh Penikett, Naveen Andrews, Joshua Jackson and Josh Holloway.

Errr…where is Tom Welling on this list?  He’s certainly hotter than most of the guys listed!

Dean Winchester on Supernatural

After four seasons of The CW’s Supernatural, we’ve come to love Ackles’ chiseled jaw and his sense of humor. Cue ”Eye of the Tiger” and read his occasional Twitter fan Q&As: ”fav T.V show (ok don’t laugh) but i do like watching Dr Phil.” Okay, so maybe that’s not really him, but still funny.

Christopher Heyerdahl Cast In "New Moon"
Posted by Nessa • No Comments »

Season 7 - Blue4Christopher Heyerdahl, who played Clark’s uncle and Supergirl’s father Zor-El, has been cast as vampire Marcus in the upcoming movie, “New Moon”.

He says he signed on to appear in the film after seeing his niece become a devoted fan of the franchise.”Really, one of the main reasons to play that character and have anything to do with that series is my niece, who is absolutely obsessed with this series of books. To see how it has had such an effect on the teenage female community throughout the world is amazing.

“I have friends of friends who send me e-mails and call me from all over the world. Every one of these young women feel that this story is about them. It’s absolutely remarkable to be a part of something so widespread. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”

Heyerdahl’s character is a member of the Volturi, a venerable coven of vampires based in Volterra, Italy, whose members also include Michael Sheen and Dakota Fanning.

“He’s one of the oldest vampires on the planet, and who doesn’t want to play a 3,000-year-old vampire?” Heyerdahl said. “The cast that I get to work with, like Michael Sheen. … We had so much fun goofing off together. It was an absolute hoot. Director Chris Weitz’s version for this piece is like a Renaissance painting. The images were absolutely beautiful, and the character is such a tragic old fellow.”

Great article – read it in it’s entirety on SciFi Wire here.

Posted by Nessa • No Comments »

Screaming Tiki Super ConI added six video clips on the video widget, located on the left sidebar of footage from the Smallville panel (Michael Rosenbaum, Sam Witwer & Helen Slater) at the Screaming TikiCon yesterday (July 12, 2009).

Looks like it was a lot of fun!  I’m hoping to get more footage from the event soon – I’ve been waiting for video clips from a certain videographer.  I’ll post more as soon as it’s up.  Hope there is some good photos from the event as well.

And finally, read what a lucky fan had to say after she attended the Smallville panel here.  She also has a link to her videos on YouTube from the event on her site.
