I wonder why Smallville is just about the only show to have been airing new episodes during the Olympics. Then once the Olympics and the other shows come back, Smallville goes into repeats. Part of my thinks it’s some plot by Dawn Ostroff, so that she can point at these episodes and say, “Oh, it had a ratings drop here for several weeks. CANCELED!” But, even so, Smallville has been staying pretty strong and steady.

Looking forward to “Conspiracy.” Hope it really pushes the story forward. Saw a chess piece in the trailer, so it seems like it.

This looks like it will be a good one, just wish it wasn’t the last before the hiatus. I’m really excited to see Silver Banshee in Escape.

The longer it’s taking for us to hear news about a renewal…the more I’m freakin’ that maybe we won’t see them back next season.

Conspiracy looks like another good one. I’m really enjoying the Clark and Zod interactions – the scenes they share in a few of the episodes have been some of my favorite moments this season.

I’m not looking forward to another hiatus either. We just got the show back, and now we have another wait.
