Smallville news and spoilers are getting harder to come by these days. I wish January 22nd will just get here already! Here’s a few tid-bits to get you by for now.

  • KryptonSite has “Absolute Justice” spoilers – see it here.
  • Emmanuelle Vaugier, who played Dr. Helen Bryce on Smallville in season two and three has joined Fox’s “Human Target” which debuts on Sunday, January 17th at 8/7c. (Credit: Matt Mitovich, Fancast)
  • Ryan Kennedy, who portrayed Cosmic Boy in Legion in season eight has joined the cast of SyFy’s “Caprica”, which airs on January 22nd – the same night Smallville returns with “Disciple”. (Credit: KryptonSite)
  • Just in case some of you were unaware, “San Diego Comic-Con International 2010″ individual tickets are now on sale. Four-day memberships and individual Saturday memberships are completely sold-out, but Thursday, Friday & Sunday memberships are still available. SDCC will be at the San Diego Convention Center on July 22-25 – for more information, go here.

Do you think there’s any way Tom Welling will be there (Comic-Con) again this year? If so, I wonder what day. That would be worth the price of an airplane ticket!

Hey Monita,

If Smallville is renewed for a tenth season, it’s hard to say if Tom Welling will attend again, but I definitely hope so!

This past July was his first Comic-Con appearance, and it was announced a couple days before the show’s scheduled “Sunday” panel appearance that he was joining his fellow castmates. We happened to be walking the floor at Comic-Con when the “WB” booth announced it on the intercom, which was very cool!

Also, just to play it safe, we had bought our memberships not knowing if Smallville was even going to attend SDCC. Unfortunately a lot of the shows are not announced right away, so we were relieved when their appearance was announced on a day we had tickets for.

For SDCC 2010, we purchased 4-day memberships, thank goodness…so if Smallville attends (*crossing fingers*) we won’t have to worry if we have tickets for the right day! :)
