This in from TV By The Numbers regarding last night’s ratings. The info below is not a press release – just a bit of “rating notes” a CW PR sent in:

  • Smallville climbed to it’s best adults 18-49 (1.2/4), adults 18-34 (1.2/5-tie) and total viewers (2.6mil) of the season.
  • This also marks our best performance in the time period in those categories since Sept. 08 (last Smackdown telecast).
  • Smallville was #1 in the hour among men 18-34 (1.4/6) and men 18-49 (1.4/5).

Note: A Chicago Bulls game aired on the CW affiliate in Chicago so these numbers could get adjusted down a touch in the finals.

Yes, it is definitely a good thing – it means that according to the ratings released by TV By The Numbers, Smallville’s numbers increased again this week, making it their best Friday since being moved to their new timeslot.
