Tom Welling spoke with PopWrap at The CW Upfronts this morning and stated that 2011 might not be the end of Clark Kent’s journey and much more.

PopWrap: The network announced next year will be “Smallville’s” final season — bittersweet?
Tom Welling: That’s the funny thing. I’m really excited we have a season 10 – and I don’t want to jump to the sadness of it maybe being the last one. But we actually don’t know. We’ve lasted this long because the of the fans, who knows, if enough people watch this year … eleven sounds pretty good too!

PW: And Allison Mack will be back, right?
Tom: Allison will be back! Just in a more limited capacity. Don’t worry, Chloe will be a part of season 10

I hope Tom’s open to taking on the role of Superman on the big screen when Smallville is over. I can’t imagine anyone else as Clark Kent now.

Thanks for posting all these news.I am still in a dream after watching salvation and i am dreaming again reading what Tom said,watching his interview and the amazing pictures.He is so amazing! I love him so much,that every thing is perfect to continue dreaming with him and season 10.Thank you again for posting this!

Absolutely! Yeah…I knew it was going to be a busy Smallville day because the of The CW Upfronts. I’m so glad Tom attended the event! Lots of pictures and videos of him today.
